Uninstall MSP Connect

You can uninstall MSP Connect remote control on both Windows and Mac platforms.

Agent Upgrade Required
If you uninstall MSP Connect on a system running an N-central 10.2.x Agent and then upgrade the Agent to MSP N-central 11.0, the uninstall will not succeed.
MSP Connect cannot be uninstalled on systems with a 10.2.x Agent.
You must have the latest version of the MSP N-central 11.0 Agent before you uninstall MSP Connect on systems running MSP N-central 11.0.

You can uninstall MSP Connect from all devices system-wide, or on individual devices.

System-wide

  1. Navigate to the Administration > Defaults > Remote Control Defaults.
  2. Deselect Install MSP Connect, and Save.

Single device

  1. Navigate to the specific device.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Deselect Install MSP Connect, and Save.

When MSP Connect is uninstalled, the next available remote control management tool is set as the default for devices. MSP Connect will no longer be available for use.

Whenever you move the pointer over the Remote Control selector in the Device Details, Active Issues, or All Devices views, a message will appear that MSP Connect is not configured for the device.
