Online Reports

At the Customer level, you can generate and view reports for the monitored devices and services on your network. The reports help you assess the status and performance level of the devices on your network.

At the Service Organization level, you can generate and view reports that provide general metrics for all of your customers. You can consolidate the details of each customer, their accounts, devices, or processes in individual reports.

At the system level, MSP N-central allows you to generate and view reports for the monitored services on your central server. The reports help you assess your central server's performance level.

Accounts with an administrator permission level can also schedule the reports to be generated at a specific time.

You can also schedule the reports to be generated at a specific time.

You can also generate reports when you edit a device or a service.

When you generate a report, you can select a period of 4 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months. If you select a report period greater than or equal to 1 month, MSP N-central aggregates the data to display the report more quickly.

When you generate a report, you can also select the start date and time from which you would like to generate the report. For some reports, the start date depends on the selected period:

  • If you select a 4, 12, or 24 hour period, the start date defaults to the start of the next half-hour interval.
  • If you select a 1 week, 1 month, 3 month period, the start date backdates by the same amount of time. For example, for a 3 month report period, the start date backdates 3 months from the current date.

Reports with a default start time of 12:00 AM (midnight) can only be modified if you select the 4, 12, or 24 hour period.

The default start time is 12:00 AM (midnight) and can only be modified if you select the 4, 12, or 24 hour period.
