Patch Approvals and Installations Report

The Patch Approvals and Installations report show the number of patches by installation status for each approval status. A detailed list of patches associated with these counts can also be viewed in this report if required.

This procedure can only be performed at the SO or Customer-level.

  1. In the navigation pane, click Reports > Status > Patch Approvals and Installations Status.
  2. Select the Start Date and Time from which to start collecting data for the report.
  3. Select the category by which to filter the devices that will be included in the report:
    • All Devices- no further selection is required.
    • Customer/Site
    • Filter
    • Device Name
    • Device Class
    • Operating System
  4. Once you have selected a category, click > to move the item to the right-hand column in order to include it in the filtering mechanism.

    Click >> to move all of the items from the left column to the right or << to move all of the items from the right column to the left.

  5. For Patch Category, select the categories of patches to be included in the report.
  6. For Patch Approval, select the approval types of patches to be included in the report.
  7. For Install Status, select the installation status of patches to be included in the report.
  8. Select Include Devices without Patch Management to include devices not currently being patched.
  9. This option is only available at the customer level: Select Include Details, which will allow you to view the following details in the report. Defaults have been provided and you may edit them as required:
    1. Select the Maximum number of patches. The default is 500.
    2. Select to Sort devices by Device Name or Device Class.
    3. Select to Sort patches by Patch Name, Product, Classification, Approval, Approval Date, Install Status, Install Date, or Date Published.
  10. Click View Report.

    The Patch Approvals and Installations report appears.

You can e-mail or export the report as a comma-separated values (CSV) or PDF file.
