Intel® vPro™ Agent Status Service

This service monitors the status of Windows agents on Intel® vPro™-enabled devices by checking the AMT Agent Watchdog on the device for the last time that the agent was active. 

This service only monitors IntelMSP N-central vPro™-enabled devices that have an Agent.

Run a Discovery job to ensure that the AMT Agent Watchdog is set up on Intel® vPro™-enabled devices. If you enter a device manually, the AMT Agent Watchdog will not be installed.

If this service enters a Failed state, the central server will disconnect all other services with the exception of:

To prevent services from disconnecting, ensure that the Unscheduled Downtime check box on the Add Device screen is not selected.

You can choose to display the Intel® vPro™ Agent Status service in the Active Issues view.
