Reset a user password

Reset the user password if a user forgets their password so they can log in and continue working. For security reasons you may also want to reset the password for a group of users at the same time.

The Reset Password option is not available for LDAP users.

  1. Click AdministrationUser Management > Users.
  2. Select the check box for the desired user(s) and click Reset Password.
  3. Complete the information and click Save.

The next time the user attempts to log into MSP N-central, a notification appears that they must reset their password. They click a link, an email is sent with reset instructions on resetting.
