Configure an Export Device Profile for MSP Manager

An Export Device Profile lets you choose the MSP N-central devices to export to MSP Manager. After set up, device information is automatically exported to MSP Manager whenever a device change is detected.

You must set up a default Asset Status in MSP Manager before exporting a device. You cannot save your device export profile unless you have done so.

The following device changes will initiate an automatic export:

  • Adding, removing, or editing a device
  • Modifying device assets
  • Asset Discovery
  • Appliance self-registration
  1. In the navigation pane, click Administration > PSA Integration > Export Devices.
  2. Click Add.

    By default, MSP N-central includes an export profile that will export all devices in the SO to MSP Manager.

  3. Configure Export Device Profile settings to define the status for devices in MSP Manager after they are exported. You can also define what happens to a device in MSP Manager when it is no longer managed or no longer exists in N-central.
  4. (Optional) Click Targets to create an export profile that applies only to a specific set of devices. You can create an export profile using a specific Customer, Device Class, or Filter.
  5. Click Save.
  6. To initiate an immediate export, in the Actions column, click Export Now.
