Check if User Access Control (UAC) is Enabled

Quick Description This Automation Policy will determine if UAC is enable/disabled.

Overview

This Automation Policy will retrieve the value of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System\EnableLUA registry key to determine if User Access Control is enable or disabled on the remote device.

If the registry key queried returns:

  • A value of 1, User Access Control is enabled on the remote device
  • A value of 0, User Access Control is disabled on the remote device
