Change the priority of a system process

Change the priority, or importance of the processes running on a device. This provides a way to change the focus of processes to help in troubleshooting issues on the device.

This feature is only available for managed Windows devices with MSP N-central Agents installed.

  1. In the navigation pane, click Views > All Devices and click the Network Devices tab.
  2. Click the Name of a device.
  3. Click Tools > Processes.
  4. Click the check box beside each of the names of the processes to change the priority.
  5. Click Priority and select a priority.
  6. Click Save.
